At Knowles Primary School, we value high quality science lessons that are well sequenced, resourced and have lots of opportunities for enquiry and challenge. Our curriculum meets the aims of the National Curriculum. We use Collins Snap Science to support our Science planning and teaching, ensuring that high quality science lessons are delivered across the school from EYFS to Year 6.

Children have access to our very own science laboratory in our Evergreen’s building, packed full of wonderful resources that enhances and enriches our Science curriculum including: full sized skeleton, wormeries, newton metres and many others. 

We want our children to use their knowledge of science to develop their understanding of the constantly changing world that they live in. We want them to appreciate how science impacts upon and underpins much of our lives in today’s society. We aim to inspire our children to become the scientists of the future.
