At Knowles Primary School, we recognise that all children are artists and seek to foster a deep love of the Arts that lasts beyond their time at Knowles Primary School. 

Our Art curriculum meets the aims of the National Curriculum and is supported by Kapow Art, a comprehensive scheme of work that enables us to deliver an ambitious art curriculum from EYFS through to Year 6, exploring the work of a wide variety of artists and engaging in multiple art forms.

All children at Knowles benefit from the use of our two amazing art rooms in Evergreens building. These are fully resourced with high quality art materials that enable our children opportunities to engage in the arts beyond National Curriculum expectations and enriches their experiences in Art. 

Children have further opportunities to engage in the Arts through after school clubs and our Enrichment sessions. Children in Years 5 and 6 also have the opportunity to undertake their Arts Award Explore and gain a qualification in the arts.
